Prof. Dr. Ralf Uwe Rössler

Prof. Dr. Ralf Uwe Rößler is a dentist and university lecturer specializing in periodontology and implantology. He is the founder and dean of the University for Digital Technologies in Medicine & Dentistry (DTMD) in Luxembourg.

 

His academic career began with a degree in chemistry in Heidelberg, followed by a degree in dentistry at Hannover Medical School and Justus Liebig University Giessen. He then worked as a research assistant and senior physician in the Department of Periodontology at the Center for Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine at the University of Giessen. Further teaching assignments have taken him to the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, a professorship at the Praxishochschule in Cologne and the DTMD University in Luxembourg, among others.

 

Prof. Rößler is a member of various national and international scientific associations. His research focuses on the development of biomaterials and tissue engineering. He holds patents for mixtures for use as bone replacement material in human medicine and for surface sealing.

 

With his extensive expertise and his commitment to innovation in dentistry, Prof. Dr. Ralf Rößler is an important figure in his field.
